Lettering & Type

Type and text are central to my practice as an artist, designer, and educator. My lettering and text practice is inspired by the visual language of comic books, cartoons, advertisements, music records and 90s Chicago House party flyers, the graffiti I created in my youth, and the rich history of protest posters in the Americas.
